Well, I’ve finally got Newsletter 2.0 working across the board - I’m doing some final testing and then I have to write the upgrade scripts for all of you upgraders. I’m hesitant to make any more promises I may not be able to keep, but it really does look like it might finally be beta ready by tonight!

It seems that all of a sudden the registration form on this site is spitting out Internal Server Errors. This seems to be the result of the registration emails not being sent out properly. If this happens, please note that you have been successfully registered and you will be able to login and complete any purchases by going back to the main site. I am working on fixing the problem causing this error, but it is only actually blocking the registration email from being sent which is not major. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I’ll have it running smoothly again as soon as possible!
I’ve done a quick update to the Newsletter plugin to fix some compatibility issues with WordPress 2.1 - The rich editor has changed, and I’ve only got it working with the main content area of the newsletter creation page, the sidebar and meta boxes are plain text for now. This means formatting in the sidebar and meta will be raw html, so I recommend creating them in the content area and flipping to the HTML view and doing some copy-pasting. The upcoming new release will hopefully have these issues fixed up, but at least it’s workable for now.

I did this to help provide a much cleaner and usable experience for those who come here interested in my WordPress plugins. You’ll now find all of my plugins listed on the left, (this is where the download links reside as well) and a fancy user box at the top-right for those who have paid for the Newsletter Plugin and anything else I sell in the future. The home page will list update notifications, so please subscribe to the RSS feed to stay updated.
You’ll also notice that I’ve disabled commenting here. This is because I will not be providing support in this area, that is why I opened my Support Forums. So if you have any questions or comments, please direct them there.
